Most yoga teacher trainings skip over the essentials:
- Practical anatomy for yoga teachers
- Understanding the nervous system in yoga
- Applying pain science in yoga practice
- Sequencing that supports both safety and recovery
Without these skills, it’s common to feel unqualified & unsure when a student says, “I have an injury.” Many teachers fall back on vague cues like “just listen to your body,” which can leave students feeling unsupported and teachers lacking confidence.
You walk away knowing how to put it all together!

This mentorship isn’t about memorizing muscles or collecting more information. It’s about outcomes. By the end, you will:
- Teach with confidence when students show up with pain or injury
- Design intelligent & intentional yoga sequences that keep students safe and engaged
- Offer modifications on the spot without disrupting the flow of class

Monica, you have taught me information that I've been searching for for so many years. The way you explain concepts makes sense & I can easily apply it when I'm teaching. I have enjoyed working with you so much!
Carolyn
I've been wanting to learn more about about injuries because I freeze anytime an injured student comes to class. I found Monica online and I'm so glad I did. I love giving assists in class and have learned which ones might not be that great for an injured student.Â
Jocelyn
I had no idea where to start but I knew I wanted to learn more about anatomy. Then I started working with Monica and she has given me clear direction and now I feel more confident when I'm learning more anatomy. She taught me how to teach myself and supported me whenever I felt unsure or confused.

Terresa
I feel supported to ask questions whenever I need to during our one-on-one sessions. I feel heard. Also, through the Slack platform, I can easily reach out to Monica with questions.
